What we do
Solscanner.org reviews and ranks the tools people use to read the Solana blockchain: block explorers such as Solscan, Solana Explorer and Orb, token and market-data explorers such as Birdeye and DexScreener, and specialised tools for validators, NFTs, programs and Jito bundles. We also run a free, keyless lookup tool that reads transactions, wallets, tokens and blocks straight from public Solana RPC nodes in your browser.
Every review is based on hands-on use. We paste the same set of real signatures, wallets, token mints and program IDs into each explorer, compare what each one shows, check the numbers against raw RPC responses and note what breaks. You can read the full process on our methodology page.
Why this site exists
Solana moves fast. Explorers launch, get acquired, change owners or quietly stop being maintained. XRAY became Orb, SolanaFM was acquired by Jupiter, Solscan joined Etherscan. Search results rarely keep up, and most “best explorer” lists are copied from each other. We wanted one place that is tested, dated and honest about weak spots.
Independence
We are not affiliated with the Solana Foundation, Anza, Helius, Etherscan, Jupiter or any explorer we review. No explorer pays for placement, and scores are never for sale.
The site is funded through partner links to a cryptocurrency exchange. When you click a button such as “Get started” or “Buy crypto” and open an account, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those links are marked as partner links, carry rel="nofollow", and have no influence on explorer scores. We only work with an exchange that has a long track record and is registered with financial regulators (FinCEN in the US and the FCA in the UK). Always check whether a service is licensed where you live.
What we don’t do
We don’t give financial, investment, legal or tax advice. We don’t hold customer funds, run a wallet or ask for private keys or seed phrases. Nobody from Solscanner will ever contact you asking for them.
Languages
The main guides and reviews are available in English, German, French, Dutch, Polish and Indonesian. Technical pages such as this one are in English only.
